The Tibetan Terrier

The Tibetan Terrier, as the name suggests, comes from Tibet. But it is not a terrier, although that is what it is called. Because it is a square-built dog, people in England assumed that it had to be a terrier, because they were square-built. However, this is a companion dog of the Tibetan monks, who also regularly used it as a cattle driver. The dog was so good at it because of its alert nature and its enormous agility, which allows it to walk over ledges and obstacles that larger breeds have problems with. It is a smart and agile dog that is alert and energetic and does not hesitate to bark if it does not trust the situation.

Material properties of Corten steel

Our metal animals are made of weatherproof corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rusty brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, this metal tibetan remains protected for years. Just like all other corten steel decorations that we supply, this metal dog is supplied in ''blank'' metal.
